Who are the Milton Playground Planners?

Check out what the kids in our town have to say about what they want at their playgrounds.

Renovations on the first playground, at Shields Park, began in March 2017! Our goal is for the others to follow within 1-2 years.

We invite you to support our efforts with a gift of any size! Gifts can be made by cash or check in person. We also welcome all volunteers - there is a lot to coordinate and we need all the help we can get!

MPP is a group of Milton residents who have a common interest in improving our town’s community spaces, specifically our public playgrounds. MPP is a volunteer-based, non-profit organization that is led by a governing board and works in
conjunction with town park officials.

What do the kids want in out playgrounds?

The mission of the MPP is to enhance community spaces in our town by improving the equipment and surrounding grounds of the four existing town-owned playgrounds:

  • Andrews Park
  • Kelly Field
  • Mary C. Lane Playground
  • Shields Park

MPP’s goal is to have four unique playgrounds with the commonality
that they are safe and accessible to children and families of all ages and abilities, including those with physical limitations
